An unusual sight is a filthy 66 on 6S45. However on the 25th November 2014 66735, in filthy condition, is seen passing Prora Farm with 6S45. This is the Blyth - Fort William 'Alcans' , running a wee bit late at 1128.
Very different dropouts. Red 1960 has massive 9/16th chainstay and reinforcing plates yet both have 'pencil' seat stays. Gillotts horizontal dropouts were always elegant compared to many other builders.
