Skin with red lips by the greatest Filthy New skin!!

Obviously she was not MIB. She was actually pretty filthy. She had a thick layer of dust all over her and the rubber band holding her hair back had melted into her hair. A dish soap and cool water soak got all the melted nastiness out of her hair. So much better now!

This is why we love our groomer.

Kael enjoys an aggressive roll around in the sand as a break during a good swim. This is why I always have to wade into the water to hand agitate her coat on the last swim of a session. Not a hardship in the middle of summer, but spring and fall can be a little chilly.

OK, no denying it. My hard drive is full of filth, must give it a dust!!

after the rain!

filthy cookies two - electric boogaloo…

and that is because even though i didn’t post them on here when i made them, the first cookies i ever made were these same type of naughty gems. but, as you can see in the fourth photo - i was not good at it! i mean, to be fair - i’d never even thought about making cookies before i was asked to create these, so…

anyway - the new ones are a whole bunch better - and i’m really pleased with how they came out.

i can’t wait to see what i end up doing the next time i’m asked for these!

Evidently, the owner of this house just up and left it one day moving to Seattle. Chatty neighbors tell us she owed back property taxes and maybe she was running from payment collection. The house dates back to late 1900's when the railway was active and bustling with activity. It sits rotting away, filled with black mold and garbage. This is the kitchen.

It's what I had laying around. I hit this with a few coats of paste wax, but it's gonna be filthy with paint in no time.

This Gothic-style door is certainly attractive, and I've uploaded a particularly large image which I recommend studying at 'original' size. Yet for the main ceremonial door of an ancient abbey church, it's surprisingly modest, particularly when one considers that it shares a 20m-tall recessed arch (allegedly the largest exterior arch in the UK) with a huge stained glass window. I can only presume that restructuring and renovation over the centuries somehow retained the defensible (relatively-) small doorway of the 12th Century original church.

Note the crisp carving and beautiful grain of the upper part of the door. Also note that the lower part is filthy.

The main inscription is a traditional feature of church doors:

"Pax christi huic domui et omnibus habitantibus in ea. Hic requies nostra 1915"

"The peace of christ be on this house and all dwelling in it. Here is our rest 1915"

I'm not sure of the specific significance of "AMDG" (Ad maiorem dei gloriam; For the greater glory of god) in the inner door; that's the Latin motto of the Jesuits.
