A victorious life-size angel at the local cemetery. Decent carving to my mind. Not shown here but her hand is chopped off just out of frame.

Church House, near St Botolph's church at Boston. Very interesting with the windows not really matching the arches above them. Very Dutch feel to it.

The 1940s and 1950s are generally regarded as the "classic period" of American film noir. Film noir of this era is associated with a low-key, black-and-white visual style that has roots in German Expressionism cinematography. Many of the prototypical stories and attitudes expressed in classic noir derive from the hardboiled school of crime fiction that emerged in the United States during the Great Depression, known as noir fiction

Here's something not quite so old. This is the more modern part of the Boags Brewery, which was founded in 1883. The Rolleiflex and Ilford SFX 200 film handles the scene as well as I could have expected. The square format helps me to complete the mantra to fill the frame.
Unfortunately, the future of Tasmania's second oldest brewery is up in the air. Having been sold out to multinational corporations a couple of decades ago (and changed hands several times since), the latest news is not good for local beer production. The brewery is now only producing beer for the small Tasmanian market as mainland beer production has been moved off the island.
