These glasses give me a total Top Gun recall. My love is trying on her niece's Ray Ban and I am getting flashbacks of Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis.
When I went to see this movie with a good friend - some twenty years ago - and a true filmlover like myself, our expectations weren't that high. We were sceptical of Hollywood blockbusters and more into European Cinema (what is now called Art House). But we deeply enjoyed this movie. The action-scenes with the fighterplanes were breathtaking, the love interest between McKillis and Cruise more than entertaining and Cruise's own search for redemption believable and moving.
What a pair of glasses can do!

The hardest thing in life is not discovering java script or ways to fly an airplane , but to choose a gift for somebody you appreciate. The best way to start is by knowing that individual’s likes, pastimes and enthusiasm. Nowadays nearly everyone has a DSLR and a site for showcasing his clicks, so it would be great to gift somebody something associated with this like a costly DLR from Nikon or perhaps Canon. an almost 2 week visit to the north of the island, spring is in full swing. cool temperatures in the morning and nice and warm during the day...the best time to wander throught the nature with the best colour film i've ever used (the Fuji PRO400H), honestly. natural colours and quite a wide exposure latitude. Just don't underexpose please, then there's little detail in the shadows...
enjoy this 10 pictures all from one roll of Film.
the first two pictures are, as always in the last few months, one above the other in parts. My good old A12 (one of two) is acting up on the first two frames. Definitely needs a service. I love it when the fiIlm spits out 12 out of 12. Especially with the Fuji PRO 400H which has become really expensive. But I love photography with film. And it will always stay that way.

One of the reasons I love film .... you just can't reproduce this film grain in digital as digital is way too clean.
Shooting Kodak TMAX 3200 in daylight is amazing, never really thought to use it here as you immediately think of it for low light situations but man .... I love the grain and overall image character it offers for daylight shots.
This roll of TMAX 3200 was shot at 1600 iso with my Voigtlander Bessa R3a rangefinder and Nokton 40mm f1.4 lens.
the 2nd film was also quickly full...and here my interest was more in the little wonders of the long spring here in Sardinia and 2 pictures of the typical hinterland far away. Landscapes with small hilly fields surrounded by trees, bushes and the typical rocks, simply pure nature in the neighbourhood around the house.
