Beside yon glassy mere so still,

doth stand a willow, sunder’d twain,

yet whole in nature’s solemn will,

its boughs as fingers, heav’nward lain.

The wat’ry glass doth whisper low,

of time long fled and sorrows deep,

as wayward winds in silence flow,

to stir the boughs where secrets sleep.

my second translucent plant what I found in the forest months ago.

... trough this dried plants I see how timeless everything can be. All to often we have no time (we think!), but we don't take it...

The more often I look at this picture, the clearer I get that deceleration is good for all of us.

with Minolta SRT 101, Fuji Proplus 200

This shot catpures a perfect blend of tranquility and intrigue. The leading line created by the pier draws the viewer's eye straight to the horizon, effectively guiding us through the serene waters and towards the distant hills. The inclusion of the boats anchored to the left adds a touch of life to the scene, contrasting nicely with the stillness of the landscape.

The choice of Ilford XP2 film really shines here, with its fine grain and rich contrast enhancing the textures of both the water and the rocks. The subtlety of the highlights and the depth in the shadows demonstrate a great understanding of the film's capabilities. This image evokes a sense of timelessness, reminiscent of the work of classic photographers like Robert Frank. The balance and composition make it a standout piece.
