Quiet an amazing sight to arrive at dawn, with high tide, to find this entire marshland flooded right up to the banks.
The skeleton trees, all dead with the flooding of salt waters and the building surrounded by flood waters, all caused by the breach of the sea wall in the storms of October 1996.

I'm new to the Nikon F80 but boy it's a fine little camera. The Lomography 800 film give it that urban grit so for me a thumbs up for this late Nikon film camera. The camera was introduced in February 2000 and offers a similar experience to a modern DSLR.

The valleys of the Perlbach and the Fuhrtsbach were placed under nature conservation in 1976. In 1980, the spruces growing there began to be cleared and alders planted along the stream valleys. The Perlenbach-Fuhrtsbachtal nature reserve is notable for its biodiversity. More than 360 different ferns and flowering plants thrive here, of which more than fifty are on the Red List. In addition to wild daffodils (daffodils), the Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbach valleys are also home to the only occurrence of heath vetch in the country. As far as wildlife is concerned, it should be noted that wild cats and beavers are once again found in the nature reserve.
the brewery "gaffel" right next to the cathedral of Cologne, after we had eaten and everyone was gone, I put my camera on the table and made this image
...at this beautiful summer day in 2010, together with my beloved family, i visited Cologne as a tourist and now years later I live in this city...so I've decided to share a photo of my new hometown cologne.
update 02.2021
it fits into our crazy times and symbolises, among other things, emptiness, not only in the rooms, but rather in our thoughts and hearts. But at the end of the tunnel, here of the illuminated bar, there is light. And therefore hope for better times again.

on a hike in the Eifel National Park to the Bieleyfelsen along the Perlenbach I found this plant surrounded by last year's low lying reed grass.
The beauty of nature can be so simple.

Captured sometime around 1989–1990, this moment shows me with my mother’s Citroën 2CV—effectively my first car—parked near the old ferry staging area in Horten. The image was taken on film, adding that unmistakable analog character: soft grain, muted tones, and the feel of a time when every frame mattered. It’s a snapshot from the early days of both driving and photography, a quiet pause preserved through the lens of classic film.
