Enough of the digital stuff ... back to some good'ol film and the Mamiya RB67
This was shot with the 90 mm Mamiya-Sekor lens. I thought I would stop down to maximum aperture of f32 to try to get a sense of motion in the water. Used a shutter speed of 1/15th. I also wanted to test this lens and it's capability of offering fine detail in the background of this image, the rocks and grass.
It was overcast so i could get away with a slower shutter speed here even though I was using Kodak TMAX 400.
I used Kodak T-Max 400 developed in TMAX for 6 3/4 minutes @ 20'C & Ilford Rapid Fix for 8 minutes.
Camera: Rollei SL 35
Lens 50mm: Schneider-Kreuznach Rollei SL-Xenon 50mm f1.8
Lens 200mm: Rollei Rolleinar MC 200mm f3.5
Film: Fujichrome Sensia 100 (expired)
Experimenting with HP5+ pushed to 800 iso.
I grabbed the roll of exposed film and loaded it into the developing tank, turned on the lights ..... thought I had loaded a roll of TMAX 3200 shot at 1600 iso but after I poured in the developer, I realized that I had grabbed the roll of HP5+ instead !!!
Oops ! Now what ... roll soaking in developer ... no idea on time of development so I guessed .... 10 minute developing time with minimal agitation every 30 seconds. 8 minute fix in Ilford Rapid fix.
What do you think ? Perhaps over developed ?
Shot with Olympus OM-2Sp and Zuiko 50mm f1.4 lens, handheld, f1.4 @ 1/60th

Slow shutter speed of 2-3 seconds along with the 110mm Soft Telephoto lens resulted in the dreamy look of the picture.
Another shot with the Mamiya RB67 and 90mm lens. The morning was bright but a bit overcast with a thin mist hugging the ground. I went with an exposure of f16 @ 1/250 with mirror lock up and cable release on my tripod.
The mirror lock up and the fact that the shutter is located in the Mamiya's lenses is another reason I went for the RB67 over the Pentax 67. I found that the mirror slap on the Pentax was crazy loud and if I want to take low light or night shots with a 6x7 format, in my opinion, the Mamiya offers a better solution for minimizing camera shake.
Kodak T-Max 400 developed in TMAX for 6 3/4 minutes @ 20'C & Ilford Rapid Fix for 8 minutes.
This is the first shot from a roll of Kodak TMAX 3200 I shot on my Voigtlander Bessa R3A.
I shot this particular roll at 3200 iso.
For this image, I used my Voigtlander Apo-Lanthar 90 mm f3.5 MC lens. Shot settings were f3.5 @ 1/30th handheld.
TMAX developer @ 20'C for 12 minutes, agitation every 30 seconds & 8 minute fix
What do you think of the TMAX 3200 @ 3200 iso? It will be interesting to compare this to a roll I shot rated at 1600 iso. Comapred to Fuji Neopan 1600, I think I may be leaning towards the Neopan for the moment.
I did switch to my Nokton 40mm f1.4 which I think gave me some better results ... more to come.
