Filled with a wonderful stuffed bunny, and entirely age-inappropriate candy. Nana said she told them specifically that he was under 2. I guess other people don't think much about giving toddlers gummi worms and mini M&M's.
the quilt I made for my baby boy. Log cabin pattern and then a small pieced border and apliqued stars. All hand quilted.
A friend of mine had asked me to take some pictures of their family for me, so I used this as an opportunity to use them for this assignment. I like this photo because there are NO shadows on the side, which before having used a fill card, there was. They had a window on the right side of the house and that was it, so by placing the fill card on the left side, it took away some of the dark shadows.
Sitting in my chair I look out over Eureka Valley. The sliver of a moon
hangs in its final moments of glory before the sun takes over. The sky glows
in the East, a hint of what's to come. As I sip my coffee a blaze of light
fills everything and from behind the hill I see the sun rise on a new day.
And everything is fresh. And everything is alright.
