Madagascar - Je dois avouer que j'ai une affection particulière pour cette photo qui n’a pourtant rien d’extraordinaire d’un point de vue technique.
Le train qui assure la ligne Fianarantsoa-Manakara va repartir. Je suis remonté dans la voiture. La petite fille, chargée de garder son petit frère, a tenté pendant l’arrêt en gare, de récupérer quelques pièces auprès des voyageurs, en leur proposant une grosse orange.
Alors que ses soeurs d’infortune (hors-champ) sollicitent les voyageurs jusqu’à la dernière seconde, la petite malgache vient de remonter avec son petit frère sur le quai pour se mettre en retrait et regarder le train s’en aller. Je crois qu'elle a pu vendre son orange.

Madagascar - I must admit that I have a particular affection for this photo, which is not, however, out of the ordinary from a technical point of view.
The train that runs the Fianarantsoa-Manakara line will be leaving in a few moments. I got back into the car. The little girl, responsible for looking after her little brother, tried during the stop at the station to collect some coins from the travelers, offering them a large orange.
While her sisters (off-screen) solicit travelers until the last second, she has just climbed back up with her little brother to the platform to stand back and watch the train go.

Paczki Day is traditionally observed the day before Ash Wednesday in the U.S.and Canada. Although, in Poland, paczki sales are the highest on Fat Thursday, which is the Thursday before Ash Wednesday. Paczki are Polish cuisine.
James and I were walking in our local park today looking for birds. He said to me that these two planes looked awfully close to each other, they must be military. I couldn't even see them at first, that's how high up they were! When I got home and looked on the computer, I noticed it appears they were performing re-fueling procedures! Best Bird shot I got all morning!

after a long silence from uploading any new pictures. this is something i want to share this image with u guys. this was taken during sunrise in Teluk Chempedak, Kuantan. A famous rocky beach every landscape photographer would love to shoot. i was there for business trip in March 2010.

Older men and women have landmarks of their youth that they remember years later. One of mine was the price of gas when I was in college. Most stations were at .29 cents a gallon and a normal sized car could be filled for $5-6 and last an energetic lad a whole week. But I remember times when I was so poor that I could only put in a dollar or two at a time. Some farmer has built a scene from his past, complete with a telephone booth.
