I love these purple Tibouchina flowers, the middle almost looks like an alien or a sea creature. I think this fills the frame.

My father used to pull into the gas station and say "fill it with high-test". Those were the days when there were gas station attendants. And "high test" has become "premium". Will gas stations be as ancient as "high test" one day?

2. The idea of the photo was to fill the frame and shoot from far back. To accomplish this I used the heal tool in snapseed to give it the effect.
3. I took this photo low to the ground to capture the aerodynamic look of the car.
Our backyard of our house in Yubari in January of 2018, literally filled to the top (shown by the two meter cinder block fence on the right) with snow. Our very kind neighbor used his snow blower to remove the snow.
A lower body graced the 1957 Roadmaster with an even more panoramic windshield equipped with reverse slanted pillars. A red-filled Sweepspear lined the bodysides and a chromed rear fender lower panel filled the area between the wheelhouse and the bumper end, continuing to offer "Dagmar bumpers" at the front. A new centered fuel filler was located in the rear bumper, the ends of which the single or optional dual exhaust passed through. Roadmaster script was placed within the deck and grille emblems. Two-door models had a trio of chevrons on the rear quarters while the four-door models had a Roadmaster emblem nestled within the Sweepspear dip. Interiors featured a padded dashboard and were broadcloth and nylon in 4-doors, nylon in 2-doors, and leather in convertibles. Front hip room was 65.3-in.
A new 364-cubic-inch engine was rated at 300 horsepower. A new ball-joint suspension system improved handling. The 4-door Riviera hardtop proved popular the previous year so that the pillared sedan was dropped from the model lineup. Also, new was a mid-year production (March 1957) Roadmaster designated as Model 75 that featured standard power seats and windows, carpeted lower doors, a one-piece rear window (instead of a three-piece that was a design feature of the smaller Special and Century models), Deluxe hubcaps, and a Series 75 script identification on the rear quarter body panel of the Roadmaster coupes and the rear door panels on the Roadmaster 4-doors, thus replacing the standard 3 chevrons found in the same location on the standard full model year Roadmaster model lines. Overall Roadmaster sales dropped to about 33,000.
Recent rains fill the creeks and cascades over the spectacular and easily accessible Somersby Falls. It was quite windy and with the slow shutter, there was some movement in the trees and plants on the rocks.
Fillerup Sting. Love Sting. Got this shot at the Des Moines marina this morning. The marina's gas station, for all those who can still afford to fill up their yachts gas tanks before they head out for a Puget Sound cruse. Ain't me. Crap I'm just bitchin' every week about how much it costs me to get back and forth to work, yet thankin' God I've still got a job in the same breath. Life these days for some folks is like a twelve step program.....one day at a time.

Quatrième journée, on n'en finit pas avec ces photos ! Après-midi . Les filles ne veulent pas sortir . Je décide d'aller faire un tour seul . Et je me retrouve sur la route de Château-Gontier ( fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau-Gontier ) alors que je voulais aller ailleurs !
C'est une jolie petite ville, avec un riche patrimoine, mais difficile de s'y garer . Je finis par trouver une place dans une rue qui dévale vers la Mayenne . Je « pars à l'aventure », craignant de m'égarer . Mais le risque s'avéra minime !
