This was fun to do! I need to fgure out the editing alittle more.. Might redo :)
Sorry I havent uploaded anything in a while.
This shot was taken by breaking a light bulb and photographing the filament as it burns in the air. Normally bulbs are in a to vacuum prevent the filament from burning. By removing the glass and shooting several shots in quick succession I am able to capture this image.
At one time, it was the lightbulbs that had filaments.
Used in week 41 - Patterns - a Compositionally Challenge group challenge.

Mosaic of an huge filament that was crossing 1/3 of the disc of the Sun. Seeing was terrible, had to resize to make it acceptable.
