I was supervising a light hang a couple nights ago and one of our kids accidentally knocked a light (an ETC Source 4) over. The lamp broke so one of my kids took it apart to change it. She called me over to see something and this was what I found - the lamp glass was broken, but the filament was still intact.

First quickly improvised test, a miniature bulb soldered on some printed circuit board. Shot with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 stopped down to f/8 and some extender tubes.

Had to use manual focus on this. Too thin for auto to grab.

a roughly 1/1600 exposure. I love this camera. (I did take a 1/3000 exposure, but it was too dark.)
