On July 28, 2006, N391FE flew from SEA to MEM as FedEx FLT 630. Upon landing on Runway 18R the left main landing gear collapse due to a fatigue crack in the Schrader valve mounting hole. The aircraft was a total loss eventually being scrapped in February 2007. There were no injuries or fatalities.
Here cranes are seen the day after the accident attempting to lift the jet to allow for removal from the runway.

The DC-10-10 is the initial passenger version introduced in 1971, produced from 1970 to 1981. The DC-10-10 was equipped with GE CF6-6 engines, which was the first civil engine version from the CF6 family. A total of 122 were built.
