For the first twenty four years of my life until I got married in 1980 I lived at Clifton, Nottingham and therefore was a frequent visitor to the “Top Shops” as they were known. This was the main shopping centre for the area situated on Southchurch Drive in the middle of the estate. The shops may have different names these days but are the same shops from my childhood. The major change is the NET tram system now passes along Southchurch Drive and here tram 236 departs from the tram stop in front of “Top Shops”, 4th February 2017.
Kevin summons his foul (fowl?) familiar to watch over me and make sure i'm keeping my nose to the grindstone. Anthony never would have been so villanous. Actually I just didn't have time to think of anything today so I shot this as a backup.

This chap was wandering around the Peace Gardens in Sheffield today. As he came my way I pointed my camera and said "smile" and this was the pose that he struck!!! Lol!
13.02.09 - Today is 'Red for Heart' and February is National Heart Month so I have dug out Mr Hearty for the occasion.
