Here are a bunch of selfies from the past few weeks. I hope you are all doing well and having fun. Please let me know what you think of these photos. Love you all, Tammi xoxo
I've wanted to photograph this at night in the snow with some side flashlighting. Since I'm heading out of town on Saturday, I thought I'd better do this while we still have some snow. Processed with a "film noir" preset in Silver Efex Pro with some additional twiddling.
C's birthday party today - fourteen 7 year olds spend the afternoon learning a dance to a Taylor Swift song with C's ballet teacher, Miss Emily. There was almost complete silence for the whole afternoon as they were so focussed on magic Miss E and learning the moves. One of C's favourite presents was this Frozen perfume.
Hmmm, I think I combined all three challenges.
It's one of the sketches, it's got die-cuts and it's a friendship card :)
I've got 99 problems...or do I have 99 luftballons...or was that 99 bottles of beer on the wall...or did I buy a bucket 0' nothing for 99.99.99...
Hmmm, digression.
Proper Canadians now, we’ve been skating on a frozen lake! After our morning out, our friends invited us round for a skate on the lake behind their house. I don’t have skates so I wandered about on the ice in my snow boots but the others had a blast skating and playing with the neighbourhood children and dogs. There is something really, really disconcerting about stepping off the dock and onto the ice - it took quite a bit of courage for me to put that first foot down! I was assured the ice was 25cm thick, but even so there were moments when the absurdity of standing where we swam 6 months ago was a bit much.
The best day we’ve had in a really long time - after a crappy, stressful and tear-filled week, it was just what we all needed. Here’s to better days x
Pine Warber - Sunday was a beautiful day and the birds were hanging out at the suet feeder. This pine warbler landed on a nearby branch and let me photograph him from my front porch.

I'm not sure if I've forgotten the climbing stage or if C didn't do it, but this is how I found Bea today. Standing (in tighted feet) on the very edge of a chair to reach something off the top of the play kitchen. See also: licking chargers.
My favourite perfume. This bottle was a Christmas pressie from Mr G, kindly collected by a VERY special friend of ours ;)
