from the archives. this was taken last february. i remember it being bitterly cold and my fingers were so numb it took double time to adjust the settings on the camera. it was about 5pm and the sun was setting. i can recall very clearly that the air was so quiet, so calm, so still.

After a cold night with -8C locally today we will undergo the transformation to a milder type of weather.

What's special about these pictures is that the sea is not frozen. In February, that's what it should be at 60 degrees latitude.

The settings of the camera were accidentally off, so I pushed the sliders way up to recover this from the darkness. -- February 4, 2022

February in North Carolina started with winter days, and quickly became a very warm, early springtime!

taken from the bridge. Pirita river

It's felt colder than it actually is today so a photo of the frost seemed pretty fitting to me.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

He settled on the couch for a bit before relocating to the door.

The sun was sending plasma and the green lights were on. Unfortunately the clouds were doing there best to hide the pretty green light.
