if you're wondering my stream has been so awful this week, it's cause i've been in a not-so-good mood all week. my apologies.
I took the day off work. The light was good in the morning but I didn't have time to get out with the camera and the day just got greyer and greyer. Cursing my luck I nonetheless went out late afternoon to see what I might see. Fortunately, the cloud broke. I took this shot down at the Folly Pond at Forest Mere, which is a Champneys resort for healthy types.
I have to confess that it didn't look quite like this. The sky, while nice, was not this dramatic. I'm afraid I've taken a bit of artistic licence with software in the interests of making the shot more appealing by adding orange grad filters. I'm struggling with the conflict between presenting the shot as it was and making it more appealing. I mean, I adjust almost every shot in some way, but I don't essentially change it. Then again, if I'd used a grad sunset filter when I took the shot (I did use an 8x grad ND) I may have come up with something close to this result. I've yet to resolve this one...

Day Three of What I'm Wearing:
White t-shirt - Old Navy
Black Dress Pants - Wet Seal this season
Red bomber jacket - Las Vegas Miracle Mile Shop
Black and white bobble necklace - Gift from Philip
Black flats with silver buckle - Forever Young Shoes
Wearing it to work and to the bookstore after work. I think this What I'm Wearing thing is helping me remember what I have in my closet. I love this little red jacket, but hardly ever wear it cause I forget about it. Same with that bobble necklace. I think I've worn it once since Philip gave it to me over a year ago. It's big and chunky so I feel like I have nothing to wear it with. This challenge is helping me think more about how to put an outfit together and use pieces I wouldn't normally pull out of the closet.
