Just a normal day in the Flaf house.

FAR too cold to go out. F started crying on the 3 min walk from the car to G's school this morning so we stayed in for the rest of the day. Apparently not SO cold that trousers are needed inside, but furry hat and giant boots are, oh yes. Weirdo.

Record lows in December & January were followed by a very mild February...March is anyone's guess.

Winter is all but over this leap year. Here's to a lovely(-er) Spring.

These pictures are below my normal technical quality but the scene was too amazing not to share. I looked out the backdoor this morning and saw this coyote in the middle of a flock of about 20 turkeys. He was eating something small, maybe a rodent. The turkeys were furious, squawking and gobbling, and drove him away quickly.
