Tonight was the AMAZING Barry Manilow concert. Barry is a fantastic entertainer and we three "Fanilows" had a great time. Barry sang all his great songs: Mandy, I Made it Through the Rain, Copacabana, Could it Be Magic, I Write the Songs. And I pretty much sang along with every song (as did most of the audience). We sat next to these really nice women, one of whom might be moving out to CA, and so I gave her my contact information so we could connect out there.
It was a fantastic weekend with the Jens. We talked politics, men, God, men, and Barry. Did you know there's a lot of good theology and philosophy to be found in a Barry Manilow song?

16 February 2020, Irbid, Jordan: Fatima Al-Omari looks out over her garden in Al-Mazar. She is one of many beneficiaries to recently have received support from the LWF in setting up home-based farming in the area of Al-Mazar. By providing tools and seeds, the project has helped 150 families grow food for themselves and, in some cases, also earn an income from selling their surplus at local markets. Now I find myself alone
The simple life's no longer there
Once I was so sure
Now the doubt inside my mind
Comes and goes, but leads nowhere

For my album I couldn't use bighugelabs so I downloaded each photo to my computer and then created the mosaic in a very old version of Aschampoo Photo Commander.

I'm feeling a little (very) nostalgic today... Sometimes it's unbearable how much I miss that view. And how unreal it feels that I was there at all.
This is the card I made for Mariette for Deborah's February CCC. I went with the theme of friendship. Love the HA Artist's butterfly and the sentiment is so true, isn't it?? I colored the butterfly with Prismacolor pencils and the pp layers are from K & Company.
I need to learn how to take photos of my cards and then get them uploaded - scanning just doesn't show the details of a card very well. Maybe someday this old dog will learn some new tricks:)))
