At over 200 mph, the peregrine falcon is the fastest animal on the planet.

Here is P/D, patrolling the skies above the nesting box because 'some photographer' was on the roof. They are awesome to watch as they soar, chase down their prey, and glide on the upcurrents provided by the downtown buildings.

This small creek was running high and fast on Christmas Eve.

Interesting. I never thought that i could ever get a shoot such as this. As if everything and everyone else is moving fast and she stood still in time. Kimono Show, Amsterdam. [2006]

Tsukiji market sure proofed to be a fast paced place. When you are there, you feel as if you are the unwelcome guest, and you have to be as invisible as humanly possible.

Saw the jazz band “Fourplay” over the weekend. Quite a treat - we sat right in front of the stage so I was able to get close with the camera. There will be several more of these to come - hope you can stick with me.

Who ever said that snails are slow? After about two hours of dropping an empty shell against a black background while taking pictures with a remote, this is the final result. I used a shutterspeed of 1/30 and a separate flash from the side to freeze the movement on the rear curtain. I guess it doesn't flash exactly on the rear curtain, as the light trail continues beyond the snail, but this unexpected side effect does kinda make it look like a snail ;)

Cheers, Michel

I used a fast shutter speed to capture the splash from the rock, along with a bunch of water droplets. I took another photo from a higher up angle looking down so you could see a bit more of the rock going in, but then the other rocks in the river became visible and it got too distracting from the subject being the rock splash. I decided to choose this angle with the rock splash in the center so that it was clearly the main focal point. I love how much detail you can see in the splash. I took this photo around 3pm yesterday, and it was cloudy. I used "Auto" in photoshop and adjusted the angle.

than you with the Camera...Baby girl just needs to work on her speed even though she blurred my picture.

The out line of our Honda Element as we head south on highway 2. The relative speed with the other car was in the 220 to 300 km/h range.

Very Fast. This is a sick quad with tons of power. Fully stock with full independent suspension, which makes for a really smooth ride.

Tried to take a video via hand held. Not so good on something this powerful. Haha

That yellow signal is no. 37. If this was your signal, you'd better look out, cause your next one was that red'un about 20 yards past it! More drivers ran past this signal than any other. Feb '83
