The subject matter in this image is the water. This image was taken with a close-up viewpoint; therefore, the view is closer than the normal eye. This image is under exposed, this can be seen from the darkness within the image. Although, this exposure works well with this image due to it capturing the flow of the water. The composition of this image is balanced, this can be seen by colour and texture. The whiteness of the bubbles compared to the smooth dark flowing water. This composition works well for a close-up viewpoint as it doesn’t crowd the image. My technique used to achieve this photo was using the burst mode on my phone's camera, allowing me to capture multiple photos in seconds. The focal point of this image is the bubbles of water in the Centre, this is because it is sitting against the smooth water flow which creates a nice contrast, therefore making it more drawn towards. I edited this picture on photoshop. As my original image didn’t quite have the best frozen speed capture as possible, I wanted to experiment with adding a sharpen to the image. By adding the sharpen this helped define the bubbles and the movement in the water, however I wasn’t fully satisfied. So, I adjusted the brightness of the image by lowering it to where I was able to make the image stand out. I felt this made the water sharper as well as clearer. I then cropped the image to the required scale.

Experimenting with grey as a background. Not sure, but I think I prefer this one over the orange version. A Penny for your thoughts? Be honest now. Thx.

Great weekend. This is my cousin's band Faster Turtle. I decided to take my first stab at some concert photography. Holy shit!!!! This is hard to do. Here are really the best ones I have. I know there is a better way because even at ISO of 1600 the shots sucked. I must work on this.

Parece que dice Fast!, me gusta el contraste que se hace con el azúl y el amarillo.

Approaching the Corey Helford Gallery in the Culver City Art District, I noticed long lines of fans and a large signature D*Face mural beaming from the side of the gallery wall. The show has been aptly entitled “Going Nowhere Fast” and the mural described just that - a man and woman in a car speeding, illustrated wind flying past them, in skull faced madness.

Trailing Lotus (Lotus berthelotii)

(It's the plant with orange flowers in the photo)

I planted it at the end of September last year, as a fill in plant, not

knowing it was going to grow and grow and....

We measured it today and it is 5 metres x 4 metres and covered in flowers.

Sure makes a great ground cover. :-)
