Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroads "NRFF" (North Reading Fast Freight) rumbles across the Lehigh River as they enter the town of White Haven, PA. Leading the train on this given day is all three of the railroads units that are painted in a paint scheme for the Fast Freight.

50049 and 50007 zip along the Up Derby Fast towards Washwood Heath East Junction running as 0Z50 Duddeston Junction to Leicester L.I.P. The pair had headed 5Z50 and were due to drop off the train at Hams Hall but much to the surprise of the gallery at Whitacre the train continued towards Birmingham so myself and young Rob made haste to Bromford Bridge and captured both 5Z50 and 0Z50, nice.

From when I had this roof view a year ago. System was clearing the region, so the fast moving clouds against the vivid sunset made for an interesting sky!
With full afterburner engaged, Greek F-16 004 from 336 Mira performs a very fast, very low pass through Vouraikos Gorge.

The Tour Down Under is about to start again in Adelaide and surrounding areas from tomorrow. It attracts some of the world's elite cyclists to South Australia in January - our summer and has been run here for 20+ years..

The waxing crescent moon appears to be flying fast because of cirrus clouds drifting past. No post processing.
An added bonus on the photo charter with "Canadian Pacific" at the Mid-Hants Railway in October was the chance to catch it hauling a freight train - not something that I have been able to find evidence of from when it was in British Railways' service. This was a necessary move to get the freight stock in position for the following days' charter with an S15.
