Went out fishing on the bay with my mate Eddy, the fishing tragic :-)
I don't fish, but the photo opp's were too great to pass up, especially since we headed out before sunrise. Had a awesome morning, and bagged a lot of shots lol. For the record, Ed caught just 14 banjo's, which all got kissed and returned to the water :-)

This Papa Johns store has been open since the late 90s. The town's KFC was originally located on this lot but KFC built a new restaurant about half mile north of here near Walmart and Taco Bell in 1994. That building was demolished and this Papa Johns building was rebuilt on the foundation.

I tried to experiment with panning for the first time to get motion blur in the background. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I was able to keep the face in focus, however it's still not as clean as I'd like to be. Gotta start somewhere.

Compact, Quality Optics, and a fast aperture, the Rokkor-X 28/2.8 is a close second to a favourite lens for my manual focus Minolta set up and has never let me down in the field! Plus, the colour rendering of the Rokkor glass makes it a perfect choice for fall colours; too bad the reviews are shot in B&W!
