Frontenac State Park

These trees are called "exotics" because they are non-native. Native trees in New Zealand don't show much color change in the fall. Most of the colorful displays of exotics can be seen on South Island in the Queenstown area.

As Fall has eminently arrived we get to enjoy our gardens still. Weeding, pulling and cleaning of the gardens gives us a chance to enjoy the last of our plants and flowers. Fall color has arrived

I took this one this past fall at Flushing Meadow Park by the lake. I went vertical panoroma style to eliminate some of the un-wanted subjects around the sides of the photo.This is an HDR image done in Photomatix. My thanks to all in advance for your comments :-)

I was driving by this floral shop at sunrise today (September 28, 2018) . Had to stop to take this picture of these autumn decorations.

This is the south side of our water shed. The sugar maples were utterly awesom in 1996!!! Enjoy!

Just got back from a great weekend outing to chase the fall light and colors with jojo (imagesofdream) and Eric Dugan. I'm still pumping with adrenaline from all the epicness. It's crazy how we can go from 25 degrees at 10,000 ft in the morning to 90 degrees at around 5,000 ft. in the afternoon. Man what a rush! We got a lot of stuff to share with you. Shot the stars at Mono lake and will share those too. I'm very much mind boggled by my new gear and the sharpness and image quality it brings.
