Don't bother walking a mile in my shoes, that would be boring.
Spend 30 seconds in my head, that'll freak you right out.
I spent many an hour plowing with one of these when I was growing up on the farm. I love the Fall decor.
Nevada Fall is a 594-foot (181 m) high waterfall on the Merced River in Yosemite National Park, California. It is located below the granite dome, Liberty Cap, at the west end of Little Yosemite Valley. The waterfall is widely recognized by its "bent" shape, in which the water free-falls for roughly the first third of its length to a steep slick-rock slope. This mid-fall impact of the water on the cliff face creates a turbulent, whitewater appearance in the falls and produces a great deal of mist which covers a wide radius, which led to its current name (Nevada is an old Spanish word meaning "snowy"). Additionally, when viewed from the left-hand side, its angular shape is suggestive of the western border of the state of Nevada. (Source: Wikipedia, "Nevada Fall," en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevada_Fall)

As the season progresses, so does the fall color. Flowing down from the high altitudes to the canyons and eventually the floor of the river valley. Kind of like a river, but at a much different pace.

A small panorama of a mountain range I captured this morning. It was a cool Fall Sunrise with patchy fog.

Cobain is on her way to a Fall Meet the Blythe girls have been planning. She can't wait to play guitar for them.
Along the way, she ran into lonely Edward who will now be her little sidekick. Both do love that grunge style! ;)
This water fall covers that entire rocky wall in the Spring. It really dries up during the summer and Fall. Smoky Mountain NP, Tennesee.
One of my favorite trees! color through out 3 seasons!
we have so much ash drop on us, our leaves are turning fast, they go by light in the day, and last week we had a couple of days with no real light....due to the fires in Northern California

During my most recent visit to Yosemite Valley, I was determined to challenge myself to make images from a wider point of view, but I still found myself drawn to intimate scenes, like this one. Keith Walklet says I "see in telephoto." He might be right. I love the way a telephoto lens compresses space and makes every element in a composition critical. True confessions: I sometimes make a game of how many compositions I can make from the same vantage point using my telephoto lens. It's fun. You should try it sometime. ;-)
