I've come to appreciate my gardens in Autumn almost as much as in Spring and summer. I liked this pic as a soft sooc, but liked this dark version better. Tomorrow will post the sooc.

Fall foliage, with fresh spring water stream, sitting in the morning sunlight. I tried to show the fall colors, I feel within in this season. Fall is an inspiring time, possibly a calling to all in nature & life to prepare for the winter season. And the changing of our thoughts.
Fallen fall leaves on the street and road and raining a bit too, nearby my place (a parallel street, where I took the but this morning and where I came back 3 h later)
A "Fall dress" I think that fall is a funny season to paint happy motives that give us happiness in our life!
Original Mixed painting. The background is painted with watercolor. I painted the dress with cheerful acrylic. I made stamping with fall motifs all around. I hope you like my design!
As the fall foliage reached peak in Vermont, I drove up from Massachusetts and took this picture when dawn broke. Mist was pouring out from the side of the mountain, adding some nice contrast to the beautiful colors.
This is my favorite time of the year for shooting sunrises with the colors of the sky and fall trees merging so seamlessly,
This picture shows the beautiful fall colors of trees planted beside a private drive in Sequim, Washington.
Sequim, pronounced skwɪm is located on the north end of the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state and is located on the Straits of Juan de Fuca, a large body of water that connects Puget Sound with the Pacific Ocean and separates the Olympic Peninsula from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Known for it's unique climate due to being the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, it is often referred to as being in the Banana Belt getting an average of 16 inches of rain per year. In contrast, Port Angeles, 18 miles away gets over 25 inches of rain and the Hoh Rainforest on the west side of the Olympic Mountains, 100 miles away gets 140-170 inches of rain per year.

The red leaf was actually falling from the tree as I took this photo - not created in photoshop. If you look closely you will see that there is a second leaf falling just behind it.
The fall foliage is one or two weeks away from being at peak color here in Greater Boston. I looked long and hard to find this much color, and of course the Grist Mill in Sudbury, always makes a great background.
For week 40 theme: foliage
It's almost fall, and we've been nursing our crop of squash & pumpkins. We were told to pick them before they were eaten by the garden creatures. We rushed over to our community garden this morning, and found our crop had become squirrel food. Soooo sad! We were fortunate to save the one big pumpkin on the right, but the other two are just shells . . . good side exposed for this picture. We were planning on a beautiful fall garden. The life of farmers . . .
Bindi is back in the woods and the beach is behind her for another year.As long as she has her ball it doesn't really matter where she plays.
At least she does't need that annoying collar ;)
