Factory smoke

No idea what this is or does, but I've seen it countless times on the way to work. This was the main thrust of my photo excursion today, and the final photos were on phonezilla.

Built in 1918, the Torpedo Factory on Alexandria's waterfront once built torpedoes used to sink enemy warships in World War II. Today, the space is home to 165 visual artists who create paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry and sculptures.
