While driving down the street I noticed this car being detailed at Auto image Detailing in Melrose Ma. Dave the owner was pretty cool to allow me to take some pictures of the car.

Munitions factory at Rotherwas, just outside Hereford. It was opened for WWI as a National Filling Factory (NFF), where it made various munitions, including folklore has it, Mustard Gas.
The factory was closed down after WW I, but reopened again just before WW II, again as a filling factory only called Royal Ordinance Factory (ROF) not NFF.
It suffered a bomb detonating in 1944, along with a fire and a German plane which dropped a bomb on it's return part of the mission. It has been abandoned since the war
He ran like the wind was behind him, across the fields, across the underpass.... His first day at work. The job his dad scripted for him with his scary friend Ray. Ray with the bones tattooed on his neck. Nineteen years old. Out of school for three years. Meagre passes in his exams then the years of unemployment playing video games in his bedroom. Get a job his mum said. Took three years and his dad to show up again. Now he's late. He at the industrial estate and now he's got no idea how to get into the bloody place.
There it is. He can see the sign but no way around. He's due to start at 9am. It's 8:57. It could take another fifteen minutes to walk around these bloody fences...
Easier to climb. Climb the fence, across the courtyard. In on time. Working man.
To him it felt like an hour, but it was just under ten minutes. Ten minutes of screaming before someone heard him. Wasn't even anyone in the factory. They probably couldn't hear his pitiful cries above the noise of the machines. Some old guy in a flat cap walking a dog found him. A veteran of a forgotten war no doubt, someone who would investigate sounds of peril rather than walk hurriedly away. Workers came out of the factory alright, bit only after they heard the sirens of the emergency services. And they stood and watched amused while the rescue team carefully untangled him from the rails and barbed wire at the top of the fence.
His injuries were, for the most, superficial, more shock than anything, but that was that. He got a job at the supermarket the following year, but he was never the same. That cruel laughter. And his dad seemed so disappointed. He didn't come around much after that.
The Müller Cloth Factory Museum, also known as Tuchfabrik Müller, is part of the LVR-Industriemuseum in Euskirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This unique museum offers visitors a fascinating journey back in time to the golden age of the cloth industry, around 100 years ago.
The factory was originally established in 1894 and operated until 1961, when business declined, and the factory owner locked the doors, leaving the production facilities as they were. For almost thirty years, the factory remained untouched, preserving a snapshot of the past. In 1990, it was reopened as a museum, allowing visitors to experience the historic cloth factory as it once was.
The museum features original machinery and tools, including looms, spinning machines, and dyeing equipment, all in their original positions. Guided tours take visitors through the production process, from raw wool to finished cloth, and provide insights into the working conditions and daily life of the factory workers.
The Tuchfabrik Müller is only accessible through guided tours, which are offered multiple times a day. The museum also hosts special events and exhibitions, making it a dynamic and engaging destination for history enthusiasts and those interested in industrial heritage.
Where else to go for a Saturday jaunt in dreich autumn weather but Lanarkshire? We had a great lunch in Uddingston and picked up some freshly baked wafers in the official shop before setting off to take a peek at the A-Listed factory in Shotts. And then we got lost. And then it got dark...
