The Borg part I understand, but what's with the turtle-ish silhouette? Searching google & flickr for a connection got me this, www.flickr.com/photos/tbd1/772121811/, but I'm not sure it reflects anything so iconic as to result in decals.
1950 Flood in Winnipeg. Photos take in Riverview area - at my Grandfather's home at 140 Arnold Avenue, along other streets (likely Morley), and at Riverview Hospital.

Somewhere in the Lakes District. This kayaker attempted a few times to push through the waves, without much luck.
An oak struggles to gow as other trees close in on the light. I can almost feel the strain and strength in the branches.
Why shouldn't things be largely absurd, futile, and transitory? They are so, and we are so, and they and we go very well together.
