I'm conducting a large funeral today. Yesterday, I had the privilege of receiving the flowers and setting them aside. Thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity.

Unit #2648 belonging to the Whitehall Police Department. This 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility was there only unit present here at Officer Brian Shaw's funeral in November of 2017. Its black hood and classic Keystone marking on the side was a nice touch. Also, with the tailgate half black is also a neat touch.

A little more than 100 years ago -- so the family story goes -- my Grandmother Alice and her sister, Cora -- both accomplished seamstresses -- sewed funeral dresses for a neighboring family. They were each given a platter in thanks, and this one eventually came to me.
