Forgotten Prom Queen Make-up Concept
Model: Taylor Barker
My friend who is a MUA and the model came up a "Forgotten Prom Queen" concept where a woman has grown older, but is still stuck in her senior year of high school when she was prom queen. While her friends have grown up and moved on, she is afraid to move past this point and wants to continue to live as a popular prom queen. By this point, her skin has started to crack and she is upset with her friends and classmates for moving on and leaving her behind to be forgotten.
This set was shot as a "progression" of the model's "character" starting with the typical pre-prom headshot, the model becoming sad as she realizes her prime is ending, and then angry that everyone else has moved on without her.

Everyone left her. Her boyfriend left her in the middle of the crowded lunch room. Her friends left her stranded at a party she didn't want to go to ten miles from home. Her mom even left her, on the side of the road, drove away without her, changed the locks so now that she was out she couldn't get back in. Eventually she faded out of everyone's minds, nothing more than a faint memory you remember at the oddest moments when you let your mind float to imagination land. That is where she resides. Sitting in the deepest recesses of your mind thinking, dreaming, plotting of ways to tear you apart.
And she'll never forgive you for leaving her.
i took this photo in le jardin du luxembourg in paris. i thought it was a funny scene, taken from a louis de funes film.
Both the sled & the poor shed where it resides have been long forgotten. :(

At the Bodie Ghost Town, a miniature organ, although long forgotten, still standing against a wall inside the Methodist Church. I could almost hear the melodies that once filled up the space.
