Tall trees form a light forest canopy at Pinery Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada.
Pinery Provincial Park was initially reforested with red and white pine trees giving the park its name. However, the area is not naturally a pine forest; the natural ecology is a very rare oak savanna. Only later was the true value of the natural ecology recognized, and the health of the oak savanna is now promoted.

...somehow it looks like painted ... but is photographed! ... The camera on the floor, the rising heat, the movement of the water create an artistic effect. Who likes absolute sharpness, will not like this picture :)

The trees are heavy with newly fallen snow in the winter night. The light sources illuminating the ski trail provide high contrasts between shadow and light.
Deep in the forest , light is shining through the trees....
The sound of the Silence is infinite....

i actually took this from a couple hundred feet away with my lens zoomed in as far as it can go, but it sure doesn't look like it lol
A nice little scene with ivy-ranked trees in my local forest. The bending road caught my eye as the scene was flooded with golden light of the setting sun. By the time this photo was edited, the scene had already turned into green.

Orlestone is three hundred and eighty eight hectares in size. It is predominantly mixed native broadleaves and a small percentage of conifer.
The area is a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), managed principally for birds and butterflies.
There is a medium sized car park and picnic area, with a height barrier at the main entrance. . All roads are unsurfaced. As it is very low lying, it has a tendency to flood in winter.
