The New Forest National Park, created in in 2005, is one of the largest remaining tract of unenclosed pasture, heathland and forest in Southern England. The landscape is shaped by grazing cattle, ponies, donkeys and deer.

the pine forest near my town is a nice place to spend some time no matter the season.

Looking out into a dark and colorful Michigan forest following a rain.

This was last weekend before we got locked down in the UK and not a moment too soon. Some people were taking it as an extra bank holiday.

Having walked through a few forests they are really difficult things to photograph. There seems a massive difference between what your eye sees and what works well in a photograph. Most of the photographs end up a whole bunch of confusing brown and greens.

Forest fires are very common in Idaho, we saw too many trees that looked like this.

I am not very good at making pictures in forests, but when there is something reflecting than I see opportunities to do something with trees. This scene is also from Canada.In the village where my sister lives (Brighton) there is a little park called Proctor Park. The scene is from here.
