I shot this scene so many times, different focal lengths,Zoomed in, further up the track that it's took me a couple of months to decide which to post.

Enchanted forest (Kettle). Hikiä, Hausjärvi, Finland. 18.5.2018.
From Wikipedia: A kettle (kettle hole, pothole) is a shallow, sediment-filled body of water formed by retreating glaciers or draining floodwaters. The kettles are formed as a result of blocks of ice calving from glaciers and becoming submerged in the sediment on the outwash plain. Another source is the sudden drainage of an ice-dammed lake. When the block melts, the hole it leaves behind is a kettle. As the ice melts, ramparts can form around the edge of the kettle hole. The lakes that fill these holes are seldom more than 10 m (33 ft) deep and eventually become filled with sediment. In acid conditions, a kettle bog may form but in alkaline conditions, it will be kettle peatland.
Morning in the forest when on a bike trip. It was a little bit cold, but anything for the sport and photography, right?
I may finally understand the bokeh from this lens - and I like it for my type of subject & distances.
Walking along the stream in the forest near the village of St. Maddalena in Dolomites :)

Forest? I guess it's as close as it gets to a forest out here. USG 112 passes through a green patch in what is basically just desert with limestone loads for the sheet-rock plant in Plaster City, CA.
