Last Monday I had two photos of soap bubbles or more accurately foam. This photo is a composite of 24 macro images combined using focus stacking using that same foam. At the top are the blue and white bristles of the brush and the white plastic handle is on the right.

I have not yet duplicated the formula that led to this quite stable foam. HMM

Thankfully the rain stopped earlier in the day and the cloud cover was thin enough to allow the sunset (at 5:15pm these days!) to illuminate the clouds in the background on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Some nice CN visitors would be rolling by Plant City this afternoon on B619 to Tampa. Ethanol loads are a common occurrence around here with today being no different. The CN motors would be 2 SD70M-2s and even a CSX motor trailing 3rd. Now for the title “Foam City” the Plant City Platform would be packed with many railfans ready for the 619.
