There were some nice, misty clouds earlier in the days but they had cleared by the time I arrived at this beach. However still some sea mist. The sea quieter after the low pressure storms of the past days. Quite a bit of foam still evident. The brown speckled section is foam washed onto the beach and now drying with sand and dirt on top. A bit like burnt coconut! I tried a few long exposures and this seemed the best. There was still plenty of tannin coloured water entering from the adjacent lagoon that is fed by creeks. Not Goth soapsuds. Instead, up really close to black plastic foam - the cut side of a small block. Uses - packing, thermal insulation and more. On this piece the uncut foam bubbles are closed by very thin 'windows'. FOV about 8mm across.
