She's nearing her completion stage so thought I'll just fool around a little and did this little picture of her. So here...I give you... Strawberry FlossFace - Berry flavored hair floss topped with some Sweet Mischiefs and a little dash of sparkles. :)
One of my three (haha, addicted?) embroidery floss boxes.
I have mild OCD so playing with my floss is a harmless way for me to indulge myself. I like to rearrange them by numerical order, and then into a rainbow by colour. It's very soothing to play with the spools (bobbins? cards?), and almost meditative to wind the floss onto the cards.
I also get a lot of inspiration just by playing with colour combinations.
( Edited with Picnik because I love rounded corners. )

Kachina had a much needed bath after a roll in a cow pie
I'm laying on the ground with her after the bath - she was rolling in the leaves trying to rid herself of the smell of Lavender Chamomile baby shampoo.
then she decided to floss while she air dried.
I still see a hit of 'green pie' around her one eye.
Have a great weekend....

Couldn't quite get the exposure right with the bright spots roving around, but I loved how she looked in the pink light with the pink candy floss.
Took a few crap photos this evening, then my eyes fell on the floss and I thought it might just work.

Woooooosh, another project.. Its not a tending topic for the 52.. It just happend..
But i need to admit i ADORE these kinda challenges, to think about something and to come up with something.. fooking love it!! Keep them comming!! hahahhaha
This is for the Red Line Project, the idea is to connect all photgraphers over the world by a red line..
It needs to enter to the left and leave to the right, and what happens in between? Thats your choise ;D and needs to be a selfie...
For me was it easy, my dog does act like a cat most of the time, also when i was knitting back then..
I cursed to her once that one day she will even poo a knotted one!
Soooo this was fun fun fun fun, and the red line enters doggie back, to come out miracles clean at her mouth.. ( yeah i still have childish poo humor, cant help it, makes me laugh uncontrolled these kinda jokes! )
It would be more fun if others join this project.. to get 2012 contrubutions from 100 countrys is the goal, i challenge you!! hahahahaha!!
( I know, photo technical not the best, but you ever did try to make a dog play and keep her quiet at the same time incl a remote to hide??? This is just pure pooooohoooo fun ;D )
And for the rest? It fooking snowed!!! Wooohoooo!!!
As well going to go shopping with kiddo, he has 2 b-days this week to attent to!!!
And in the evenings? Im watching merlin, staring my screen and forgetting time, damn that serrie kicks ass!!!
And there 1000 other things im pleased with and make me smile a lot the last weeks..
But then this "talk" here would be endless... Yussaaaa going goods, and my doggie better then evers after being flossed =P
Yesterday we had a rare drop of sun and this dog fox and a young vixen came out to enjoy it.
The winter has obviously been hard on them ..... the vixen had very noticeable signs of mange ...... the scourge of the urban fox. The male looked in better condition but he too had the odd patch.
I've never seen a fox do this before ..... perhaps he'd been watching Clive ! ;o))

The title here speaks for itself. However, I have to add that, he looks to me like a killer who loves his work, goes to it with gusto, and gets it over with quickly!
Cotton candy (U.S., India, Canada), candy floss, or candyfloss (UK, Pakistan, Ireland, New Zealand, India, South Africa, Canada), or fairy floss (Australia) is a form of spun sugar. According to the New York Times, the confection "is almost 100 percent sugar, with dashes of flavoring and food coloring."
Made by heating sugar and spinning the liquified sugar out through tiny holes where it re-solidifies in minutely thin strands of "sugar glass," the final cotton candy contains mostly air; with a typical serving weighing approximately 1 ounce/30 grams.
Often served at fairs, circuses and carnivals, cotton candy is sold on paper batons or in plastic bags. Food coloring can be used to change the natural white color, and numerous flavorings are available to change the taste.
Similar confections include the Persian Pashmak, and the Turkish PiÅŸmaniye, although the latter is made with flour and water in addition to sugar. Ngathrek Golop Lhakpa is also a Bhutanese variant, but with added Butter tea and chilli peppers.

this may be the coolest embroidery tool ever.
since I plugged their floss in my book, DMC sent me a package of embroidery goodies, including this amazing color chart of all their colors done up in actual floss! I've been wanting one of these for years. no more keeping all those little numbered wrappers.
