Here's another taste of autumn - five portrait oriented frames of little Lemke Lake with its beautiful row of trees on the far shore in full reflection. The lake was like a mirror, and I like the effect where the trees seem to be floating in the sky. The weather has turned cold for the moment, and so the leaves are falling fast right now, but we've been blessed overall with a beautiful autumn season.

The bright yellow petals are only five and delicate. They seem to weather the rain, wind, and frost to shine like little jewels against the ground....

All five girls in the sweets collection... hopefully they aren't releasing anymore!

The pretty America 2.0, the Adirondack III, the Western Union, the Appledore, the Jolly Rover II and many other tall ships are credited with helping to keep Key West's maritime traditions alive for years

to come. Always a joy to see skimming across Key West Harbor.

That's one Taeyang, three Pullips, and five Dals! I don't think I'll get another doll anymore, I'm really happy with who I have.

My dolls were all dressed in black and white today and I thought it would be nice to take a picture. It's my first time to attempt a family photo, and it's not easy! I'm going to try taking another group photo, but I don't think I'll do it anytime soon...

This beautiful oak-lined road in Hillsboro doesn't get much traffic, so it was wonderfully decorated with scattered leaf confetti, as I like to call it. And since it hadn't rained in a few days, the leaves weren't a soggy brown mess. Add in a little morning fog, and voila!

Five gerberas going strong.

Seeing and photographing this sparrow is a dream come true for me! Many, many thanks to Matt Brown for his help!!

The F/V Sandra Five is a commercial fishing vessel, built in 1998, that operates primarily in Alaska. It is a crabber and tender vessel known for operating in the Bering Sea.

Prompt: Create an ultra-realistic digital fine art oil painting, with light brush strokes, of the Fishing Vessel Sandra Five, accurately depicted from the reference image.

The vessel is painted in rich deep blue, with the name “SANDRA FIVE” clearly visible in bold white lettering on the bow. The superstructure is white with dark framing around the windows, and the vessel’s deck equipment and antennas are rendered in intricate, true-to-life detail.

Depict the Sandra Five navigating through the turbulent Bering Sea in the early morning light. The choppy dark-blue waves, capped with white foam, crash dynamically against the hull as the ship cuts steadily through rough water. Fine mist and sea spray rise around the bow, adding realism and energy to the scene.

In the background is the open rough Bering Sea. The sky glows with soft hues of a beautiful dawn—pale yellows, pinks, and silvers—casting subtle reflections on the vessel’s metallic surfaces and the rolling waves.

The painting should capture a cinematic, panoramic composition, emphasizing both the strength of the vessel and the vast, untamed sea around her. Every element—from the hull texture and weathered details to the delicate atmospheric lighting—must be rendered with museum-quality precision and clarity.

Style: Ultra-realistic digital fine art oil painting, Brush strokes

Lighting: Early morning, soft light with mist and reflection highlights

Mood: Determined, maritime resilience in harsh northern seas

Aspect Ratio: Wide-angle panoramic horizontal

Resolution: Ultra-high, no noise, no grain

The bridge that connects islands that were fortunate to fall in line... (from where I am standing) disrupts water flow, bringing it to a total, stagnant, standstill.

The British had built this bridge, spannig across several of these islands...

to facilitate the transport of vehicles and goods, during their stay in the

What used to be a thriving lagoon abundant with marine life,

is now totally bare.

Smells of dead weed.

And is littered with rotting carcasses.

The garbage that used to get integrated into the marine environment stay healthy and piles up... and up.

Even bacteria refuse to live here.

Beneath the lovely iridescence of sunset colors of this evening... is a Six inch high depth of sea, (used to be Six Feet!) spanning hundreds of Kilometres of coastline.

Un travelable. Un habitable. Un bearable.

Un beatable!

Good morning. Just a single posting this morning as a way to let you know I'm back after a very hectic trip to New England. While one doesn't always get to see everyone they'd like, or get to do all the things they want when away, I did get the time to persue the local dragonflies on two occasions. Unfortunately it'll be a while before I get to post any of the pictures as I need to find time to wade through hundreds of photos. Until then, and beginning tomorrow, I'll be posting a few series taken here locally in the Midwest before my trip.

I hope you all are well...and were good while I was gone. As for me, I need a few days to get my act back together and might be a bit lack when it comes to responding to comments or slow visiting. So please bear with me on that...thank you.

Almost forgot...Happy 1st Day of Summer to everyone.

Egghead makes a noble sacrifice to complete Humpty Dumpty's look.

I was just happy to finally get the Condiment King Minifigure.

Simon really needed the rolling pin before I debuted him.

Also, I finally made Sweet Tooth. I really wanted to try using the pink punk rock girl hair but I think I sold that figure awhile ago. Oh well.
