Well, those aren't the colours of Mali. Why does it look more like the flag of Bolivia or Senegal?
Me: I didn't like the green colour of the modelling clay. That's why I kneaded it together with other colours of modelling clay to make a darker green.

What does that have to do with those strange bags?
Me: Mali has a high birth rate, doesn't it? There are people who don't want to or are not allowed to use such bags. So in terms of the former German law, it would have been possible to make a mouth and nose cover from such bags.

But do you have to use modelling clay for that?
That is never, ever environmentally friendly!
Me: In my opinion, these bags only look better when they are filled with modelling clay, fresh and untouched.

Ich: Die Grüne Farbe der Knete hat mir nicht gefallen. Deswegen habe ich sie mit anderen Farben der Knete zu einem dunklerem grün neu zusammen geknetet.

Ich: Mali hat doch eine Hohe Geburtenzahl? Es gibt eben Menschen die keine solche Tüten verwenden möchten oder dürfen. Also im Sinne des ehemaligen deutschen Gesetztes, wäre es somit auch möglich gewesen, aus solchen Tüten, eine Mund und Nasenabdeckung zu fertigen.

This is a FISA company postcard printed in Barcelona, Spain. It shows the view looking north across Piccadilly Circus towards Shaftesbury Avenue and Centre Point in Tottenham Court Road. It is summer 1973 and the American post – apocalyptic science fiction film, “Soylent Green” is playing at the Empire, Leicester Square. It starred Charlton Heston, Leigh Taylor-Young and Edward G. Robinson in his last film, he died twelve days after shooting finished. The film played at the main cinema from 21st June until 7th August and at the Empire 2, which was previously the Ritz cinema, from 8th August until 27th August 1973. The Max Factor sign has recently been dismantled and a sign for “Commercial Union Assurance” has taken the underneath slot which had been unused for a few years. The CUA was formed as a result of the Tooley Street fire in 1861. The fire, which was described as the largest conflagration in London since the Great Fire of 1666, destroyed several wharves on the south side of the Pool of London just downstream of London Bridge, during the fire, James Braidwood, the head of the London Fire Engine Establishment, one of many Firefighting brigades in the Capital, was killed. The resulting high premiums asked by insurance companies led to the formation of the CUA by several local businessmen and brokers. It also led to the formation of the London Fire Brigade in 1866. The CUA amalgamated with General Accident in 1998 and became CGU Plc, two years later the company merged with Norwich Union and became CGNU Plc and was later renamed Aviva.
"The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (also known as the Alfa Romeo TZ or Tubolare Zagato) was a sports car and racing car manufactured by Alfa Romeo from 1963 to 1967. It replaced the Giulietta SZ. In 2011, the name was reduced from Giulia TZ to TZ in the new TZ3 model.
The original TZ, currently sometimes referenced as TZ1 to differ from later TZ2 was presented at the 1962 Turin Auto Show.
It featured a 1,570 cc twin cam engine and other mechanical components shared with the Alfa Romeo Giulia and carried a 105 series chassis number, but was a purpose built sports racing car, with a tubular spaceframe chassis built in the province of Perugia by SAI Ambrosini and the light all-aluminium bodywork was made by Zagato, final assembly was made Delta of Udine, with Carlo Chiti initially on board as a consultant before becoming the project leader. The firm soon changed its name to Auto-Delta and relocated to its current site in Settimo Milanese, on the outskirts of Milan, not far from the Alfa Romeo Portello Plant.
It has disc brakes and independent suspension. The result was a lightweight coupé of only 650 kilograms (1,430 lb) and top speed of 134 miles per hour (216 km/h). The TZ was built both for street and racing trim, with the latest racing versions producing up to 160 brake horsepower (120 kW). Alfa's twin-spark cylinder head, as also used in their GTA, contributed to the speed of the TZ; the standard Giulia alloy block with wet steel liners was installed at an angle under the hood of the TZ to improve airflow.
Aiding the TZ in its quest for performance was the treatment of the rear bodywork. Incorporating the research of Dr. Wunibald Kamm, the TZ used a style called coda tronca in Italian, meaning "short tail.", otherwise known as the Kamm tail. The principle is that unless an aircraft-like extended tail is incorporated, which is not practical for an automobile, there is little, if any, increase in drag and a marked decrease in lift or even some downforce by simply chopping off a portion of the tail. Zagato had previously proved the success of this tail treatment in their coda tronca Sprint Zagato sports-racing cars, and it was a natural evolution to adapt this to the Giulia TZ.
The car debuted at the 1963 FISA Monza Cup, where TZs took the first four places in the prototype category. At the beginning of 1964 the TZ was homologated (100 units were needed for homologation) to the Gran Turismo category. After homologation it started to take more class wins in Europe and North-America. Of the first TZ, 112 units were built between 1963 and 1965. The Renault 5 Turbo or R5 Turbo is a sport hatchback automobile launched by the French manufacturer Renault at the Brussels Motor Show in January 1980. The car was primarily designed for rallying, but was also sold in a street version. The distinctive new rear bodywork was styled by Marc Deschamps at Bertone, headed by Chief Designer Marcello Gandini.
Although the standard Renault 5 has a front-mounted engine, the 5 Turbo featured a mid-mounted 1,397 cc (1.4 L; 85.3 cu in) Cléon-Fonte with fuel fed by Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a Garrett AiResearch T3 turbocharger OHV 2 valves per cylinder Inline-four engine placed behind the driver in mid-body in a modified Renault 5 chassis. In standard form, the engine developed 160 PS (158 hp) The first 400 production 5 Turbos were made to comply with Group 4 homologation to allow the car to compete in international rallies, and were manufactured at the Alpine factory in Dieppe. The factory pushed the engine output up to 180 PS (132 kW; 178 hp) for the Critérium des Cévennes, 210 PS (154 kW; 207 hp) for the Tour de Corse, and by 1984 as much as 350 PS (257 kW; 345 hp) in the R5 Maxi Turbo. The Renault 5 Turbo competed in the sub-2000 cc category, thanks to the multiplication factor of 1.4 which was applied to turbocharged engines. FISA restricted tire and wheel sizes based on engine size, so for the Maxi Turbo, Renault enlarged to engine to 1527 cc which brought it up to 2138 cc in the eyes of the regulatory agencies - placing it in the 2000–2500 cc category and allowing for the fitment of wider wheels at the expense of a higher minimum weight.

Yes, I know. You think I am an evil human being. I had no idea my little mantra, which was going to be placed front and center on a Tee Shirt, would actually come to pass, sort of, on the morning of October 2, 2020, with the announcement that the First Couple of the United States had tested positive for COVID-19.
With trumps death from natural causes, I surmised we would never have to hear that raspy, cloyingly annoying voice ever again bullying, insulting or humiliating anyone. Never again be told lies, half truths and conspiracy theory laden statements to create fear in those who are wont to believe his sort of trash. At least, those were and still are my thoughts. I certainly wouldn’t want another human to harm him, as then he would become a martyr to his cult, a Jim Jones of politics with statues erected in the parks of small towns in every red state. (Insert vomiting sounds here!)
To me, it’s absolutely appalling to see the people who are usually publicly condemning him, other politicians, media people and so, so many of us ‘little folk” on social media who are shocked and sickened by him, his actions and the vast lies he tells, the dastardly deeds he does, the illegalities, financially and constitutionally, he is alleged to have made and the threats he continues to make, appalled that those same people are now ‘sending their prayers’, ‘best wishes for a speedy recovery”, ‘healing thoughts’ and other sappy Hallmark sentiments while you know damn well they are muttering under their breath, ‘Die, Die You Motherfucker’. But I understand their predicament. Being public figures they don’t want a backlash on their careers, their place in government or their particular religious beliefs on wishing someone dead. Me, I have no such boundaries. I do not subscribe to any past or present mythologies that cloud my logic as to what is right and what is wrong. And trump is wrong. Dead wrong.
I am not evil. In fact, based on what others think of me, I am a very good person. A nice person. Caring, kind, very aware and very respectful of the natural world around me and the life that is in it. I’m also aware that Donald J. Trump is the most dangerous threat to Democracy and freedom that this country, the United States of America, has ever seen. If Mother Nature does decide to eliminate that threat on a permanent basis, I’m all for it and am cheering her on. Rah-Rah Mother Nature! But I’m not holding out hope that she will permanently remove him from this mortal coil. With all the help and medical support anyone could wish for, I’m sure he will make a total recovery…..UNLESS…….
Being the consummate liar that is trump, it wouldn’t surprise me one iota to discover he is not really COVID19 positive. That he is totally faking it, creating another sham to avoid having to deal with another debate debacle, or maybe just a show to gain sympathy from his cult to gain votes from those who may have been swayed a bit with his White Supremacy support or his tax evasion or the fact he is the main reason for the misinformation circulating across the US regarding COVID19 along with his downplaying of the disease from the get go; even though he knew full well how dangerous and deadly it was, he thereby condemned to death thousands more people who may have survived if proper precautions had been taken early on instead of being ignored or mocked. Only time will tell.
I do hope Melania totally recovers from her symptoms, if she, too, really has them. I wish no ill will on her. I believe she had no idea what she was really getting into when she met trump, getting in far over her head, flailing and floundering ever since she preceded him down that golden escalator of the trump Tower. Almost as though she was being escorted by Satan himself on her way down to Hell.

Pictured is a 1980 Williams-Ford FW07B Grand Prix Car.
The FW07B was a development of the 1979 FW07 and driven during 1980 by 1980 World Champion Alan Jones and Carlos Reutemann.
The car pictured above is Chassis 7 and was raced by Jones on eight occasions during 1980.
After winning the opening race of 1980 in the previous year's FW07, Jones' first race with the FW07B came in the second race of the season in South Africa, the Australian running as high as third until retiring with a gearbox failure.
Next time out at Zolder for the Belgian Grand Prix Jones put the car on Pole Position and finished as runner-up behind Didier Pironi's Ligier. The car retired from the Monaco Grand Prix with a failed differential although Jones had been running as high as second in the race.
The car's first 'win' came in the Spanish Grand Prix at Jarama, a race that was subsequently erased from the record books. The race took place amidst the infamous FISA/FOCA political war that dogged Formula 1 at the time with the Constructors Association squaring up to the governing body.
With threats and counter-threats being made by both sides the fallout saw the non-FOCA teams (Ferrari, Renault and Alfa Romeo) withdraw from the event and the race resumed with the other constructors. The day after the event would see the FIA declare the race results null and void and saw the Grand Prix go down in history as a non-championship event with no championship points awarded.
Common sense prevailed for the French Grand Prix four weeks later with all teams competing in a race that saw Jones take the car's first 'official' victory at Paul Ricard, setting fastest lap in the process. Jones then went on to win the British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch, the third successive victory for the car.
After two races using another chassis, Chassis 7 was raced again in the Dutch Grand Prix, Jones leading the race before falling down the order with damage to the aerodynamic skirts underneath the car. He eventually finished eleventh, three laps down on race winner and championship rival Nelson Piquet.
Jones would race another FW07B for the last three races of the season, winning the Canadian and United States East Grands Prix to clinch his one and only World Championship title.
Chassis 7 did have one final race during 1980, Jones winning the non-championship Australian Grand Prix at Calder Park from Bruno Giacomelli in an Alfa Romeo. The Williams and the Alfa were the only Formula 1 cars in the field with the rest of the grid comprising Formula 5000 and Formula Pacific cars.
Argentinian Carlos Reutemann drove the second FW07B during 1980 and would have a strong season himself. He won the Monaco Grand Prix and would take a further seven podium finishes, including three runner-up spots, to end the season third overall.
With six 'official' wins between both drivers Williams went on to clinch their first Constructors World Championship with almost double the points tally of runners-up Ligier.
Incidentally, the cars raced with numbers 27 and 28. The number 10 on this car hails from it's later competition career in historic events.

Lake Karapiro is an artificial reservoir lake on the Waikato River in the North Island of New Zealand. The lake, near Cambridge and some 30 kilometres (19 mi) south-east of the city of Hamilton, was created in 1947 to store water for the Karapiro Power Station, the last of the eight hydroelectric power stations on the Waikato River.
The lake, regarded as one of New Zealand's best rowing venues, hosted the World Rowing Championships in 1978 and the 1950 British Empire Games. The 2010 World Rowing Championships were held here.
"A FISA inspection panel had visited Lake Karapiro venue in March and said in its report that it was one of the fairest courses in the world they had seen and that the lake was one of the most picturesque in the world."[2]

The Holden Commodore (VK) is a mid-size car that was produced by the Australian subsidiary of General Motors, Holden, from 1984 to 1986. It was the first iteration of the first generation of this Australian made model and introduced the luxury variant, Holden Calais (VK) sedan.
Overview
The VK series was the first Commodore to have plastic (polypropylene) bumpers and introduced rear quarter windows for a six-window design (styled by Holden, but similar in appearance to the Opel Senator) as opposed to the four-window design on previous Commodore models. Apart from the bumpers and "glasshouse", other changes for the VK Commodore included a front grille redesign and revamped dashboard instrumentation that included a full digital (vacuum fluorescent display) arrangement for the new luxury version, the Calais.
The exterior of the VK Commodore was also updated with a more modern and aggressive appearance. This included a new grill design very different from previous models, with three bold strips rather than a metallic grill, the now plastic front and rear bumpers/skirts replacing the obsolete metal guards, and a new rear tail light assembly, whereby they now spread from one side to another with a black panel in between. This all added up to a more prominent, sharper look for the 1980s. Changes were also made to the interior whereupon the panel of instruments were now square-shaped rather than the more conventional circular layout. In total, 135,705 VK Commodores were built.
Models
The VK range introduced new names for the specification levels, with Executive now a stand-alone nameplate alongside the base model SL. The Commodore Executive was basically a Commodore SL appointed with automatic transmission and power steering, and was aimed at capturing the fleet market, a market that Holden had lost its share in when the smaller bodied Commodore originally replaced the Kingswood. Also introduced was the Commodore Berlina (replacing the SL/X) and the Holden Calais (replacing the Commodore SL/E). The station wagon body style was available in SL, Executive or Berlina variants only, however the limited edition Vacationer name plate was also continued over for a period from the VH Commodore. Other variants produced were the Commodore SS sedan which featured its own specification – courtesy of HDT – high-performance 4.9-litre V8, and the limited edition – available only through affiliated HDT Holden dealers – LM 5000, SS Group 3, SS Group A (502 made) and Calais Director sedans.
Engines
Engine choices (not necessarily available on all cars in the VK range) were two versions of a 5.0-litre 308 cui Holden V8 engine (replaced by the 4.9-litre 304 cui V8 when Group A rules entered Australian motorsport in 1985) and two versions of a 3.3-litre inline 'black' Straight-6 engine (essentially a refined 'blue' I6 with slight increases in power and efficiency), the latter of which was available with either a carburetor or fuel injection. The 3.3 EST carburetor engine was standard equipment for most VK Commodores, with the 3.3 EFI injection engine nominated as standard equipment for the Calais sedan.
The 2.85-litre six-cylinder and the 4.2-litre V8, mainstays of the previous Commodore ranges were dropped, hence unavailable to the VK, however Holden's 1.9L Starfire 4-cylinder unit was offered on New Zealand market VK models.
SS Group A
The Commodore SS Group A was heavily modified by Holden's official performance tuner, originally the Holden Dealer Team. The SS Group A existed primarily as a homologation special, created specifically so a racing optimised version of the Commodore could be utilised for Group A touring car motor racing. The regulations set down by the international governing body FISA for Group A motor racing specified that a minimum of 500 cars were to be built to a certain specification prior to said vehicle being allowed to compete. Group A regulations governed many touring car series at the 1980s and 1990s including series in Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Japan, Italy, Germany and the European Touring Car Championship as well as the one-off 1987 World Touring Car Championship as well as significant races like the Bathurst 1000, Spa 24 Hours and the RAC Tourist Trophy. The SS Group A model run ran from 1985 until 1992. The four models have since become highly collectible amongst Holden and performance enthusiasts.
Unique amongst all products produced by both the Holden Dealer Team and Holden Special Vehicles, these cars were referred to as Holdens, rather than as HDTs or HSVs.
As the first model to be produced (1985 – February 1986) represented Holden's increasing efforts in Group A racing. Available only in blue associated with the corporate colours of the Holden Dealer Team's principle sponsor Mobil, which gave rise to the cars nickname, the "Blue Meanie". Production began in early 1985, but part supply problems saw the HDT fail to build the required number of 500 and it missed the 1 August deadline for it to be eligible for racing that year. Production still continued and the VK SS Group A was available for motor racing from 1 January 1986. 502 cars were available only through Holden Dealer Team-affiliated Holden dealerships.
Visually the VK Group A SS had the addition of a rear spoiler, larger front air dam and a more aggressive front grill over the standard VK Commodore. Other changes included a double row timing chain (eliminating the car's inherent weakness of 1985, a single row chain), as well as stronger conrods and suspension mountings.
Power for the road going Group A SS with its 4.9 litre engine was rated at 196 kW (263 hp) at 5,200 rpm, with a top speed of 215 km/h (134 mph). Transmission options were M21 4-Speed manual, or T5 5-Speed (optional). The car was assembled at Dandenong, Victoria (Holden) and modified at Port Melbourne, Victoria (HDT).

The Renault 5 Turbo or R5 Turbo is a sport hatchback automobile launched by the French manufacturer Renault at the Brussels Motor Show in January 1980. The car was primarily designed for rallying, but was also sold in a street version. The distinctive new rear bodywork was styled by Marc Deschamps at Bertone, headed by Chief Designer Marcello Gandini.
Although the standard Renault 5 has a front-mounted engine, the 5 Turbo featured a mid-mounted 1,397 cc (1.4 L; 85.3 cu in) Cléon-Fonte with fuel fed by Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a Garrett AiResearch T3 turbocharger OHV 2 valves per cylinder Inline-four engine placed behind the driver in mid-body in a modified Renault 5 chassis. In standard form, the engine developed 160 PS (158 hp) The first 400 production 5 Turbos were made to comply with Group 4 homologation to allow the car to compete in international rallies, and were manufactured at the Alpine factory in Dieppe. The factory pushed the engine output up to 180 PS (132 kW; 178 hp) for the Critérium des Cévennes, 210 PS (154 kW; 207 hp) for the Tour de Corse, and by 1984 as much as 350 PS (257 kW; 345 hp) in the R5 Maxi Turbo. The Renault 5 Turbo competed in the sub-2000 cc category, thanks to the multiplication factor of 1.4 which was applied to turbocharged engines. FISA restricted tire and wheel sizes based on engine size, so for the Maxi Turbo, Renault enlarged to engine to 1527 cc which brought it up to 2138 cc in the eyes of the regulatory agencies - placing it in the 2000–2500 cc category and allowing for the fitment of wider wheels at the expense of a higher minimum weight.
