YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 29, 2017) – Participants from Commander, Navy Region Japan Fire and Emergency Services, NCTS Far East and Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka Fleet and Family Support Center volunteer at the Shinwa-Hashirimizu nursing home in Yokosuka. SAN DIEGO (June 6, 2012) Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) emergency medicine staff brief Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) staff on emergency room will operates during the renovation. The FFSC team visited to see how services they provide to their clients are operated at NMCSD. Knowing how services are run will allow the FFSC team to further educate their clients before referring them to NMCSD. FFSC provides services such as relocation assistance, new parent support, deployment services, clinical counseling services, financial management counseling, family employment services, family advocacy and the transition assistance programs to active duty service members and their beneficiaries.
