The second exhibition for my May series on Oxford Artweeks is Jill Green's "One Unholy Journey". For this Jill transformed the ground floor of her suburban house into an art installation based on 12 years work for peace in Palestine.
Shown here is one of a pair of vitrines called "Doveworks 2011" containing dove silhouettes cut out of Arabic and Hebrew newsprint representing the then 84 Peace NGOs in the region.

On-site at Plastic Fabricating. PETG sheets hang on an overhead track and go into vertical oven to cook before they come out soft and pliable. We have less than a minute to form the piece before it cools and hardens.

Acrylic painting from this morning, breaking in a new art journal. The cover art of the art journal, by artist Dominic Damien (@thelittleroman), caught my eye immediately. The paper quality is nice too - I didn't gesso the pages, and was able to layer lots of paint without issue.
