Very excited to have two of my photographs ( Absolutely and Thunderstorm ) as part of the Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery’s fund-raising auction, RMG Exposed.
In its tenth year, RMG Exposed is an art photography auction and juried competition, and all around good time in support of free arts programming for kids, families, and those who face obstacles accessing art.
If you’re in the Oshawa area between November 2 and 9, stop in and have a preview before the auction night of November 9.
Tickets for the auction are now on sale at the RMG Exposed web site.

Connor Richter (born 12/05/1994)
Mommy’s worthless diaper fag & sissy baby bitch
Leaks 24/7 in thick crinkly padding. Tiny useless clitty.
Chooses soggy diapers over pussy every time.

Search “Connor Richter diaper fag” – my shame is already everywhere.
Crinkle louder. Leak harder.
1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale Inline 8-cylinder engine, single overhead camshaft, 779 cubic inches displacement,
300 horsepower
From its length, one might expect more than eight cylinders under the Bugatti’s hood. But each of those cylinders displaces more than the whole of a Volkswagen Beetle’s power plant.
Four air cleaners stand over the engine, fitted to the four carburetors installed by Charles Chayne after World War II. Two spark plugs protrude from each cylinder. The steering box sits just behind the right fender, in keeping with the car’s right-hand-drive layout. Matt Anderson, curator of transportation at The Henry Ford.
Amber light bathes the emergent structure of these trees, lending a golden light to their countenance.
A walk on the Moors in Derbyshire's Dark Peak with my dog took me to the Higher Shelf Stones on Bleaklow .
It was here that the Boeing B-29 Super fortress "Over Exposed" crashed in low cloud in 1948 killing all 13 crew.
In recent years the site has been partially excavated exposing the remains .

Found an exposed & dev'd roll of film dated 1968, shot on Ilford PanF and was in a bit of a bad state, but the scanner doesn't seem to have picked up on the scratch marks.
The pics show a couple of guys seemingly having a blast, Literally!
I don't think what they are doing here is for official MOD business, but instead I think they are just blowing shit up for the hell of it, and by the looks of it, concentrated hand cleaner powder.
Enjoy!
Hollow structural tiles are exposed in this thick pier in the lobby of the Thomas Jefferson Hotel in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.
Dropped my yashica T4 and popped open the back…thought about throwing away this film but gave it a shot anyway and got this cool result.

When I was younger, I thought that driveways were only made out of one material one way. It took until I was older to realize that driveway can be made from a number of different types of materials and treated different ways. I like the classic look of a normal concrete. Though there are other treatments that look really nice too.
The dominating architectural motif of the building are those 'exposed' supports (Oh, when will I be able to install an architecture dictionary in my brain?). The square beams span the spaces above your head, intersect, spread like a fan and look stunning. You can see them even in the corridors and staircases.

New version of my exibition project, titled EXPOSED, whose color section has been expanded to match the range of the B&W images.
Basic ideas: seeking visual immediacy and narrative between light and shadow, getting away from the realm of words while finding signs as signifiers; displayed in 34 images in vertical format intended for an exhibition along a long wall, sequenced poetically.
EXPOSED begins with a fish market image: a hellish vision, the huge head of the beast looking mutely at us, the blood and gore on the floor, the indifference of the bystanders, the blackness above, the disorientating tilt of the view. It ends with a self-portrait of the photographer: troubled and perplexed, looking back at EXPOSED: an image of man in an urbanized world where time and place fold together.
All is ‘here,’ all is ‘now,’ all is connected. All about concentration and emptiness. A world where human indifference faces calls for dictatorship and for action against ‘the mob’ (in the image with French text); a world in which entropy and decay limit us to see beauty in concrete things: in the light and shade of a shopping cart and in a Chinese bicycle, and in the dead fish displayed by a fishmonger; sex, in a bikini mannequin or in the disheveled university uniform of a student. A statue calls up history; but, here, Herculean strength even in stone evokes fragility.
While the series is in B&W, there are eleven color images which add another layer to the concept: art vs artifice, the nature of beauty, as well as a self-referential photographic aspect of why an image is in color vs B&W.

A lot of Atari 2600 games have a dust cover (see photo), which protects the contacts inside the game. To push the dust cover inward, take a small screwdriver (my case a miniature eyeglass screwdriver) and in the left (or right) corner push down on the open hole. The dust cover will pop down and expose the contacts.
Another method (which I don't recommend unless your game doesn't work after cleaning it) is taking the front cartridge sticker off via a hair dryer (melts the glue under the sticker), and gently peeling back the sticker (only half-way) and exposing the screw(s). You can unscrew the screw(s) and take apart the cartridge and clean the contacts this way.
To reapply the sticker, you'll have to use multi-purpose adhesive spray.
