oops. i forgot to take a real picture today. so busy. i was up at 7 and got so much shizzle done, including some important socializing that was way past due. i also bought 3 dresses and a pair of leggings, all for $3. i took this picture because it is a reportedly common belief that fat people can't wear horizontal stripes. well guess what? fuck you.

This is the concrete wall that was exposed when the Three Gables Hotel burned down in 2000. I'm no expert, but it looks like pretty low quality concrete placement with all those air pockets and cement that appears to be poorly mixed with the aggregate. (058a)
The Real Canadian Superstore located at 2901 8th Street East in Saskatoon installed these GT 1175 Whisper Slider door sets from Gyro Tech in 2010. However, their sensors have seen better days.
This waveform, sampled on VCC of an MSP430F2012, is 305mV tall and 476ns (2.1MHz) wide. A proper ADC ought to be able to extract this, giving me an external clock to sync to for power gitching attacks.

After finishing the trim on the exposed brick in the upstairs bedroom, I knew I'd regret it if I didn't do the same downstairs in the kitchen. This brick was much harder to reveal as it had been cemented over. A few hours with the chisel and it's all ready for sealing and trimming out.
As the Saint James Centre is due to be demolished, I thought it might be a good idea to capture a few photos of it's dying days.
The beauty of the desmodromic engine is hard to beat, along with awesome sound and it rattling dry clutch.

Opened in 1955 in the Park Forest Plaza. This was the first Marshall Field's to open in a shopping mall. Park Forest was the first fully-planned post World-War II suburb in the nation. Store closed in 1997 and sat vacant until 2010 when it was finally razed.

These painted signs were recently exposed after the demolition of an old building in Downtown El Paso. The John T. Muir Building was built by Trost and Trost architects in 1916. It was originally a beautiful building but had been remodeled at some point. Our City council voted to demolish it because: "It is not on the historic register, It's a non-contributing historic building and it has been irreparably altered." Sad - but cool that these signs were exposed!
