Compiz Fusion's Expo
OSX Leopard's Exposé is also simple and good enough for better productivity. While Compiz fusion is much better and amazing, the most important thing: it's open source and free.
BTW: I have to say Leopard is a great release!
An exposed wall shows the internal material used in traditional houses. It's a combination of bamboo, rope (could be old fish nets), and a straw / mud paste.
In Japan the summers are long, hot, humid, and oppressive. The winters are generally mild and short; the houses are built accordingly using a mud / straw paste rather than insulation. They would rather be cold in the winter and summer, than warm in the winter and hotter in the summer. Most houses here are built out of wood for flexibility through earthquakes, and the roofing is flexible interlocking tiles.
An Ilford FP4+ film with my Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP (year 1971) fitted with its normal lens Asahi Opt. Co. Super-Takumar 1:1.8 f=55 mm (M42 mount).
The 36-exposure film was exposed for 125 ISO and developed using The UltraFin T-Plus developper at dilution 1+6, 23°C, for 7min30s. Expositions were determined either by the camera readings or a Minolta Autometer III lightmeter fitted with a 10° finder privileging the shadow zones.

After process the film was digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5.

About the camera :
This Asahi Optical Company (originally (旭光学工業株式会社, Asahi Kōgaku Kōgyō Kabushiki-Gaisha) SLR was sold to its first owner on December 11, 1971.
The ASAHI PENTAX Spomatic SP was produced in Japan from 1964 to 1971. This exemplary was sold to me on July 25, 2022 after complete servicing of the camera with the beautifully conserved user manual, the original international warranty card, and a booklet describing the ASAHI PENTAX system.
The camera is equipped with its original normal lens Asahi Opt. Co. Super-Takumar 1:1.8 f=55 (M42 mount), a ASAHI PENTAX Skylight 49 mm filter, the original shade hood in a small leather case, the neck leather strap and the body half ever-ready case only. The two CdS photoresistors are still operated by a functionnal circuitry that is not sensitive by conception to the voltage difference between the original mercury (1.35V) and nowadays available silver-oxyde (1.55 V) batteries. This simple circuitry operates only with the closed diaphragm and gives matching values to a silicon Minolta Autometer III lightmeter.

Ive had a few people contact me on Flickr mail about how these shots are taken so I went back to see if I could duplicate it again to prove to myself that it wasnt a fluke. In this shot I waited for the sun to be quite low and the pelican was sitting nicely in the middle of the suns glare. I increased exposure by 2 full stops and shot on F9 from a 150-500mm sigma lens. I took at least 10 shots and selected the one that had the most detail to process in PS Elements 10. The colour in the beak has been introduced as the shot was devoid of any colour as a result of the glare. The white background has not been introduced, it is the result of the background water being over exposed. I like the result but Im not sure where else it could be applied.
Bark stripped away from this tree, leaving texture of the wood itself.

This is my custom Jouwe for the Toy Art Gallery Custom Group Jouwe show, Oct 2nd - Nov 2nd, 2010. The piece is entitled "Nella sua Ombra che Svolgono", which translates to "In her Shadow we Play". Here's the backstory.
''Deep in the Forest of Sorrows lived a wood dryad named Solstice, who protected an accursed mirror that gave whomever was in possession of it eternal life & beauty, but at a terrible, horrible cost - death! For those would be so foolish to gaze into it would slowly wither and die, while bestowing Solstice with the essence of their souls to keep her young. Ever-so-vain and unyielding in her quest, Solstice would lure unknowing children into her tree, with promises of sarsaparilla floats, poutine and french fries, pinwheels, small cute animals and more, even providing a comfy bed to nap in after their fat little tummys were full. But one day, the tables were turned, when evil Solstice lured five sisters to her lair and took their poor souls while they huddled in the bed. For these girls were not just regular girls, they were five sisters who happened to be the daughters of the king - Princesses Aria, Lysette, Calliope, Daphne and Elysia. After the girls failed to return for dinner, the King immediately sent out a search party to find them and bring them home. But alas, it was not meant to be. For the search party discovered their trail, which led them to Solstice's tree, and lo and behold, a ghastly sight was awaiting - all 5 sisters were dead, huddled in bed, together forever with only brave Elysia's drawing upon the mirror letting them know that it was indeed them. Upon hearing this unbearably agonizing news, the King ordered that Solstice be chained and bound to her tree for eternity and left outside to the elements, where her coveted face would be exposed to nature's fury and that which she feared the most. Not wanting to disturb his precious daughters' eternal slumber, he left them there to lay in peace, where their spirits could play together forever.
Legend has it that Solstice's once-beautiful face is now cracked and worn, her visage now but a shadow of her former presence and if you happen to be there at night, you might catch a glimpse of the five long-dead princesses, playing by the moonlight.''
I used magic sculpt, super sculpey, metal, paper, styrene, craft porcelain, dried moss and acrylics.
Hollow structural tiles are exposed in this thick pier in the lobby of the Thomas Jefferson Hotel in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.

When I was younger, I thought that driveways were only made out of one material one way. It took until I was older to realize that driveway can be made from a number of different types of materials and treated different ways. I like the classic look of a normal concrete. Though there are other treatments that look really nice too.
