For more than 40 years, NCMEC has led the fight to protect children, support families, and bring hope to those impacted by abduction and exploitation. The evening united survivors, advocates, law enforcement, and leaders from across the country around one goal: protecting childhood.

Hand embroidery on fabric. Part of transcription project juxtaposing beauty and horror. Figures of child workers embroidered on fabric. Embroidery done by someone else (under my instruction) reinforcing the idea of unpaid labour.
L’exploitation par Travys de la plus courte ligne ferroviaire de Suisse, reliant Orbe à Chavornay (surnommée par certains l’Ottawa-Chicago), touche doucement à sa fin.
Dès le prochain changement d’horaire en décembre, la ligne sera entièrement fermée afin d’être mise aux standards des CFF. Cette modernisation permettra, à terme, la circulation de trains directs entre Lausanne et Orbe.
Les trams allemands de Karlsruhe, acquis en 2022 par Travys, vivent ainsi leurs dernières semaines d’exploitation avant leur probable mise à la casse.
