Im lending a hand on a production of great expectations done by the great Rob Rivera. This is one of the results of following him around with the camera for a bit
While this is stated as a design principle, I also believe it is a good marketing principle. Based on user experience, perception and expectations of designs change.
The Kraft ad shows how designers cleverly put this ad on some stairs to showcase how simple it can be to make their Mac N' Cheese.
The best example of this is the Geico commercial. This ad relies on its viewers going through a hassle in order to get car insurance. By adding the phrase "so easy a caveman can do it", Geico lets viewers know that with their company buying car insurance is a breeze.
The Katy Perry ad for PopChips leads its audience to assume that PopChips is a healthier alternative to fried/baked chips with both the phrase and the image of Katy Perry in work out attire.

These were responses to Frontier fates that student had to answer very quickly. Time was allotted for group discussion and decision making and then as a group they were to write a paragraph about what they chose to do and why they made that decision. This paragraph met me expectations because it is a paragraph in length and they answered the question of what they chose and why they chose it. Neater handwriting was emphasized for future frontier fate write ups.
The expectations build up, each one a new brick on the growing wall that lies between who I am and who you want me to be.
6.6.11 (157/365) This year I have come to love British Literature and now I've branched out and I'm obsessed with anything British, especially England. If I go on the Brit Lit trip next summer, I'd get to see England, Scotland, & Whales. I'd also get to sit in the very cafe that JK Rowling sat when she wrote Harry Potter.
I bought this necklace at Art in the Park, and I'm giving it to Miss. DiNatale. She made this year so much better for me. She didn't let me get inside my head when I was preparing for the AP Exam and she always made me laugh.
We went to dinner with Ryan and Sue at Ivory, a buffet Indian restaurant, and afterwards we went for dessert here! It's been around for a very long time and is a kind of institution in Winnipeg - Sue said her mom used to go on dates there when she was young!
I think he got what he wanted in the end anyway.
A dust rat, a spilled centilitre of beer, a small piece of cheese and a kick up his butt when he was not paying attention and nor was the leader of the pack.

This year´s top gift is supposed to be a bag of food.
Embarrasing thought if you think about the target market and the potential recipients.
I gave away two empty bags.
