Sunday 2 November 2014: Exotic Houseplant
I've visiting a friend's house for lunch today and she has this exotic looking house plant and many other nice plants growing in her kitchen. Neither of us can remember what is is called, but I'm sure some of my knowledgeable friends out there will know. I just love the wonderful colours.

The Ajunta Caves are located outside of Aurangabad, India. We visited them in Nov 2010.
Some of the earliest caves date to the 2nd century BC.
The Ajunta Caves were abandoned and lost. In April 1819 John Smith a British Officer rediscovered them while hunting tigers. He left his name and the date of discovery on the wall of cave number 9.
