Первые несколько лет своей кошачьей жизни Лиска прожила в квартире. За городом она быстро привыкла гулять вне дома и стала проситься её выпустить; сначала опасались за взаимодействие с другими котами - они сами всё разрулили с делением территории. Ещё оказалось, что охотничьи инстинкты никуда не делись за время квартирного проживания, а вполне хорошо работают! ^-^ *

artnikitin: А у нас не получилось. Ушу стали гонять местные коты с намерением подрать. Загоняют её на деревья и даже на дереве продолжают нападать. Уша от них бегает и истошно орет. Так что, эксперимент был интересный, но мы поняли, что домашний кот должен жить дома и не стоит его подвергать стрессу, к которому он не может привыкнуть.

 

artnikitin: Есть тема, что уличные коты очень агрессивно относятся к дачным котам и специально на них нападают. Друг с другом же делят территорию спокойно. А Уша не может дать отпор. В общем, прямо как у людей отношения. Или у людей, как у животных.

 

xenox108: @artnikitin видимо, от характера киски зависит; и от характеров окружающих кисок. ;) У нас регулярно то Лиска гоняет, то её; рычат, дыбятся, но всё оканчивается мирно и без драк. Скоро у нас будет эксперимент по продолжительному выпуску всех остальных наших хвостов. ;)

xenox108: Кстати, Лиска довольно долго привыкала к гулянию и наличию других котов на улице (пока она была одна у нас), её тоже гоняли и пугали, а со временем она стала хозяйствовать на участке и давать отпор. Очень интересно наблюдать, как каждый из них любит провоцировать другого, выходя на чужую территорию. ;)

 

xenox108: @artnikitin и ещё: поначалу я сопровождал Лиску - когда она чувствует, что рядом хозяин, то поуверенней с другими котами себя ведёт. ;)

 

artnikitin: Как у гопников, ей богу :) Уша к нам не бежит, когда на нее нападают, да и кот такой наглый - нас не стесняется, хотя я в него иногда сапогом запускаю :)) короче, Уше нужна поддержка из пацанов :)

June 5, 2022: If I actually complete this #post, it will mark the 1st #time in a long time since I’ve done this 5 days in a row. Right now, I’m #struggling with completing even the simplest of things, & outside of these daily #selfies, I’ve steered away from moments of #SelfReflection. For example, I can’t remember the last time I did #MorningPages #journaling, & I’ve also avoided moments where I’d have to see myself in a #mirror. My #relationship with myself has always had a tension of #distrust, of not liking who I see in the mirror.

 

In 2020, I made a post about purchasing a handheld mirror that I planned to use for #EyeGazing #exercises related to #HoOponopono, as well as repeating #affirmations & other #mantras to reframe how I view myself. My desire to do that ran parallel with my desire to do this #selfie project everyday. It was supposed to #help, not #hinder my progress. But like so many things in my life, I start, but don’t follow through.

 

My distrust hasn’t just impacted seeing myself in a mirror, or taking selfies; it’s also spilled into a fear of being in photos with family & friends. When I should embrace chances to #capture happy #memories I get stuck worrying about whether or not I look good, or wondering when this amateur photo session would be over. I’d suck in my gut & hold my breath while faking a #smile… & let’s not talk about how anxious I get when these photos get uploaded to #SocialMedia.

 

I’ve said this before but I’d like to improve my #relationship with myself. I’d love to be able to see myself & say, “hey, you’re pretty cool.” A few days ago I lamented about losing people because they choose to cut me out of their lives & I don’t know why. But I do know that their desire to avoid me mirrors my own desire to avoid me. If I want to break this cycle, I need to cultivate an #unconditional sense of #compassion, #curiosity, #foregiveness, gratitude, love, & reverence for all life STARTING WITH MYSELF.

 

My friend @ahhlanna96 reminded me Friday about the self-portrait I created last month with all the positive things others said about who I am. She told me to look at that more often so I can start believing in who I am.

fitnessweightlosscenter.com - Stiff Leg Deadlifts | Leg Workouts - The is a super exercise for your hamstrings and lower back. As with all weight training exercise proper form/technique is essential for not only getting the most out of the exercise but also to avoid injury. As you lower the bar towards the floor make sure to keep your eyes/head up as this will facilitate keeping your back straight. And as shown in the video do not bend you knees - remember you are targeting your hamstrings and lower back.

 

Because technique/form is so essential to the stiff leg deadlifts start off with a lower weight and concentrate on performing the exercise correctly. Do not sway as you lower the weight but try to keep slightly more than 50% of your weight on your heals. And as with all weight training exercises keep your movements slow and steady - again concentrate on form not reps. You will get more out of the exercise with proper form and fewer reps than more reps with incorrect form.

 

After you have performed the stiff leg deadlift with the correct technique successfully you can increase the weight. Don't make too large a jump in weight but move the weight up slowly. You should not be in a rush to max out the weight. I'll say it again proper form with fewer reps will yield greater results that incorrect form and more reps.

 

A word of caution - do not perform the stiff legged deadlift if you have lower back problems or are dealing with a lower back injury. And as with any weight training exercise if you begin to experience pain you should discontinue the exercise.
