(2012) 365 Day Project Day 67
Spent a bit of time playing around with different light to try and get some shadows on the tray with our evening coffee. Not too unhappy with the result but would have preferred if it was a bit sharper. I think I was focused on the tray so the chocolate on the top of the cups is a bit out of focus.
Autumn evening on Učka mountain. The clouds were low and there was this red-pinkish atmosphere all around from the red leaves.

As I left my sons band concert this evening, I saw this incredible sunset, I had literally about twenty seconds to work with, I didn't even have a chance to change my lens, so here is a sunset taken with the Panasonic 100-300. :P
First West of England 30098 YH25 DFC is seen at Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station working a 70 towards UWE Frenchay.
I decided to head out with the camera last night, I'd had a lazy ocuple of days off work and thought I'd make the most of the evening.
This was one of the first few shots I took once I was happy with the composition. I'd been hoping the clouds would hang around till sunset however they decided to fade away.
Sunset also didn't really happen due to clouds on the horizon so I'm glad I headed out early!

[ Lake Wingra, Madison ]One of the greatest wonders of nature is that there are always unexpected surprise. Driving by Lake Wingra in a pretty evening, I found this beautiful blue heron. Perhaps even better was that I had my camera gears with me.
A few photographers joined me as they spotted the heron. I hope everyone got something they liked.

A bank of cloud appeared at the last minute, blanking out the sun from setting in the image.
