Sunset from Ocean Point looking west on a calm evening.
I shot this photo to capture the serenity of the scene with the colours and silhouettes.
It's evening and the sun is about to set. It's not that hot anymore and the evening sunshine feels comfortably warm on my skin.
It is a four footed Melantis leda. They camouflage to dry leaves so beautifully that it's almost impossible to spot them out.

From the lower banks of West India Docks, looking out toward Canary Whary. As the sun fades, obscured by the dominating clouds.
Just before sunset at Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. You can see the smoke from the Fern Lake Fire.

Evening in castle.Portrait. Model: Tatiana. Florida. Spring 2010. Last sun beam coming from the top of palms on the horizon. I catch this sunset light before its gone.

A little touch here and there but it was a nice shot of a worthy foal, early evening at sunset. Good reward for sitting in the paddock amidst millions of hungry flies.
Had a lovely evening walk up to Alport castles on Saturday.
Probably the best light I've had on a walk up there and so managed a good selection of shots.
It's still a relatively unknown part of the Peak District but certainly one of the most impressive.
It's a huge natural landslip with some dramatic rock features and a very nice little moorland pool.
A beautiful, flower like, evening cloud.
Or does it look more like a fire, with licking flames?
